Marbling

Marbling / marbleising is the art of using decorative / trompe l'oeil techniques to imitate marble. This can be used in the decoration of interiors such as plaster columns made to look like expensive marble. Funiture can also be marbleised to fit into schemes of interior decoration.

The photos above show work carried out by Hampstead Decorative Arts for Bonsack Bathrooms at Harrods of Knightsbridge. It was great fun to carry out decorative painting work in this famous shop where many thousands of international visitors can now see our work displayed.
