Woodgraining
Graining / woodgraining is the art of using decorative / trompe l'oeil techniques to imitate wood. This can be used in the decoration of interiors for doors, architraves and panelling made to look like expensive and exotic woods. The photographs below came from a project in the City of London where each room of a set of offices was woodgrained to imitate a different wood.
